WFH DESK
As the timeline of the Work From Home era unfurled, the home office became an ever-evolving experiment. At first, we made do, sharing computer chargers at the dining room table then carving out private corners with borrowed card tables. Days blurred into weeks, and we grew familiar with the habits of the squirrels outside our windows.

Eventually, the time came to commit to something permanent. Forgoing a $40 sit/stand desk with two-day delivery, I dedicated 50 precious hobby hours to crafting a plywood monolith of productivity, a helm to navigate the storm, a WFH fortress built to outlast uncertainty itself.
Notes:

3/4" plywood frame optimized for weight, stiffness, and aerodynamics.
Heavy duty drawer slides maintain rigidity at full extension.

Weight-matched air springs assist transition.

Welded steel linkages lock the work surface in the lifted position.
